Children’s Program volunteers feed peppermints to Luke, a horse from The 3d U.S. Infantry Regiment (The Old Guard) Caisson Platoon, near Section 46 of Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, Virginia, July 16, 2018. Over 400 volunteer landscape professionals participated in the National Association of Landscape Professionals’ 22nd annual Renewal and Remembrance event at Arlington National Cemetery. Volunteers aerated turf, planted flowers, laid irrigation pipes, and installed lighting protection on several trees.
