The 6th annual Branson Military Film Festival occurred in Branson, Missouri at the IMAX Entertainment Complex November 6-10, 2018 with the above scenes showing David Bancroft, USA Patriotism! founder, interacting with "Escape From Firebase Kate" author William Albracht (far left) along with Albracht's fellow Vietnam War veterans discussing the associated film after seeing it on November 10th.

Below is information on this film and the other three films shown at the Branson 2018 Military Film Festival.

Escape From Firebase Kate
A riveting true story based on U.S Army Special Forces, Capt. William Albracht's novel ... recounting an intense three-day siege during the Vietnam War. At the age of 21, Captain Albracht was assigned command of Firebase Kate, making him the youngest commanding officer in Vietnam and facing one of the most noted attacks by the NVA.

Lost Airmen of Buchenwald
An award winning documentary about what happened during the summer of 1944 to 168 airmen from the US, England, Canada and other Allied countries being captured in Paris by the German Gestapo and sent to the infamous “Koncentration Lager Buchenwald” in Germany. Falsely accused, the airmen faced a terrifying fight for survival and a race against time to escape their execution.

In the winter of 1950, 15,000 U.S. Soldiers and Marines were surrounded and trapped by an overwhelming force of communist Chinese soldiers in the frozen mountains of North Korea. Facing impossible odds, the men fought 78 miles to freedom and saved the lives of 98,000 civilian refugees. Chosin is the first-ever documentary on the Chosin Reservoir Campaign.

Clearing the Way
The story of the men and women of 23 Field Squadron, Combat Engineers, who served with the 1st Royal Canadian Regiment Battle Group in Kandahar in 2006.  Col. Mark Gasparotto's leadership of the Squadron during combat operations earned him the Meritorious Service Medal.
