U.S. Navy Adm. Mike Mullen, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of
Staff, reads the citations for seven soldiers receiving Purple
Heart honors on Forward Operating Base Ramrod, July 17, 2009,
for wounds sustained in Helmand province, Afghanistan. Mullen
was accompanying a USO tour featuring several celebrities on a
visit to the Central Command area of responsibility.
