Patriotism! are meant to recognize noble,
extraordinary patriotic efforts ... outside of the proud, honorable
duty to country in the military and other government
performed responsibilities.
It is a way of proudly shining a
light on patriots for outstanding volunteer efforts that
might otherwise go unnoticed ... as is the case when an
American troop is officially recognized as a hero for going above and
beyond the call of duty ... with the Medal of Honor being
the greatest tribute!
