A U.S. Navy corpsman treats an Afghan boy for
a head injury from falling into a canal in Helmand province,
Afghanistan, Aug. 11, 2009. The corpsman
is assigned to the Headquarters Company, 1st Battalion, 5th
Marine Regiment, which is conducting counterinsurgency
operations with Afghan forces in southern Afghanistan.
