A U.S. Navy honor guard presents the colors at the
commissioning ceremony for the U.S. Navy's newest Arleigh
Burke-class guided missile destroyer, USS Wayne E. Meyer at
Penn's Landing in Philadelphia, Oct. 10, 2009. Meyer, who passed
away in September, is known as the "Father of Aegis" for helping
develop the weapons systems that are the center piece of the
Navy's cruiser and destroyer fleet.
