Nov. 19, 2009 - Norfolk Mayor Paul D. Fraim and Robert T.
Taylor, chairman of the Board of Directors for Nauticus, the
National Maritime Center, unveil the National Maritime Valor Award
for Capt. Richard Phillips, former Captain of the container ship MV
Maersk Alabama. Phillips received the inaugural award for his
efforts to protect his crew when his ship was seized by pirates in
April.
