400 Marines, sailors, Coast Guardsmen along with New York's police and
firefighters ran through downtown Manhattan to honor 9/11 victims and
America's fallen heroes, New York, June 1, 2010.More than 3,000 of
the military members are in the area participating in community outreach
events and equipment demonstrations for Fleet Week, which runs through
June 2.
This is the 26th year the city has hosted the event.
