Retired Army Reserve Capt. Arthur J. Jackson presents Capt. James T. Cox, commanding officer of the amphibious assault ship USS Peleliu,  with the Medal of Honor pennant on Oct. 6, 2011.

Jackson was awarded the Medal of Honor for his bravery at the Battle of Peleliu during World War II, for which the ship was named.
