Officer 2nd Class Jarred Reas pins a corsage on the oldest WWII
veteran present at the Veterans Memorial building in Arcata, Calif,
Friday, Nov. 4, 2011.
The annual event, called Honoring Women Veterans, drew an attendance
of more than 75 community members to pay respect and join in the
camaraderie.
