July 12, 2014 - Marines take advantage of RIMPAC 2014 at Kahuku Training Area, Hawaii by getting their hands on experimental gear designed to make their job a little easier and help keep them alive with comments from Lance Cpl. Note... Rim of the Pacific (RIMPAC) Exercise 2014. Twenty-two nations, 49 ships, six submarines, more than 200 aircraft and 25,000 personnel participated in RIMPAC which is a multinational maritime exercise held biannually in and around the Hawaiian Islands and Southern California. RIMPAC 2014 is the 24th exercise in the series that began in 1971.
