The Arleigh Burke-class,
guided-missile destroyer USS Halsey (DDG 97) returned from a
seven-month deployment to the western Pacific awaiting
family and friends at Joint Base Pearl Harbor Hickam on
February 7, 2015. While on deployment, the ship and crew of
nearly 280 Sailors conducted various theater security
operations and goodwill activities with partner nations.
This was the first deployment for 2/3 of the ships crew.
