This song pays tribute to all members, past and present, of the 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment (Airborne).
Kirk Boland (photo right) also pays special tribute to his fallen friend, CW3 Donovan L. Briley, U.S. Army Night Stalkers, KIA 03 October 1993, Mogadishu, Somalia.
The songwriter has a line in the song that says, "The Bull, he wore a Green Beret", when the Night Stalker's berets are really, maroon in color. The songwriter made the berets green in the song because he said Mr. Briley always carried himself like John Wayne in the 1968 movie, "The Green Berets".
The song is also dedicated to Sharri and Jordan Briley.
