| Martha "Colonel Maggie" Raye
 | |
  |
A hero to our troops was she
			Complete with her own gallantry

She met three wars and served so well
So many touched would wish to tell

Her heart was filled with love to share
Where danger stood, she would not scare

No one could ever match the way
			Of Martha "Colonel Maggie" Raye

To help our troops brought her delight
This brightest star of homegrown might

When duty called she would not bend
At times she'd serve for months on end

			American is what she knew
This patriot was so true blue

God Blessed this country with her love
Please think of her through God above | By Roger J. Robicheau
