					Selflessly our servicemen and women
					give up their time,
their families and all too frequently their lives.
They don't do it for the money or the glory of the fight.
They do it for a reason that not all others may grasp as
					right.
But pride in this country we call the USA and the right to
					keep us free
lead these brave men and women to go on fighting gallantly,
as we sit on our rears, so safe and secure here at home
with nary a thought as to how that came to be.

Men and women are overseas dying daily to give that right to
					you and me
They do it willingly even knowing that there are many
					ungracious folks back at home
that never give a thought to the sacrifices that they make.
Not all of these soldiers know the politics that put them
					there,
but that's not there main concern.

They rose to the occasion when our country put out the call.
They fight on endlessly so others can experience the
freedoms most Americans take for granted.
They fight to keep America safe from terrorists
who don't give a damn how many of us that they might kill
					man, women or even child.
They fight to keep jihad off this land we call our home.
They fight for duty, honor and country.
They fight for you and me.

So when they die, as many will, our honor and respect should
					accompany their deaths.
They died to gives us freedoms.
Yet, how dare some call themselves proud Americans (and
					Christians nonetheless),
when they disgrace themselves by dishonoring our servicemen
					and women in their deaths.
Their funerals should be a time to let the families grieve
					in peace.
The rest of us should take the time to bow our heads in
					thanks.
Thanks that there are soldiers out there willing to
sacrifice their lives so we could live in peace.

Instead they hide behind their posters proclaiming lies
					upon more lies.
They yell and scream and protest the death of the one who
					died for them.
How dare they disrespect that very death that gave them the
					right to even picket.
By picketing at the funerals of these heroes with signs and
					shouts and jeers,
they show their utter ignorance of what freedom really
					means.

Freedom doesn't give one the right to stamp on everyone
					else's lives.
It comes with a price called decency and respect.
They claim the name of God in what they do.
Yet, have they even stopped to think that they are an insult
to the true Christians of this world?
If God were standing before them,
I believe He'd send them straight to hell for desecration of
					His name.

Why can't we as proud Americans,
put our feet down once and for all
					and stop the bigoted extremists
who disgrace our nation with their disgraceful behavior?

May the fate that they wish upon our heroes
be turned around and met out unto them with a vengeance.

					As for me and mine,
we thank our heroes and their families for their sacrificial
					gift.
Our thanks will never be enough to repay them for what they
					did,
but may their families know that most Americans are proud of
					what they did.

We despise those who protest their funerals for reasons that
					are utterly insane.
Stand proud and tall and know
that your son and daughters, husbands and wives, mothers and
fathers did not die in vain.
May we find a way to use the freedoms that they fought
to give us to send these protesters straight to a hell all
					their very own. |
