			| | Wounded Patriots |  |
 |
			| They hold our elect to highest standards, demand they be ethical, open and fair;
 and should our big wigs slip a notch,
 our patriots are first to care.

 They'll lift their voices, raise their pens
 and expound upon the flaws
 so all those errors may be fixed
 which contradict our laws.

 They're not afraid to criticize
 those folk whom we elect,
 though many call them fools,
 still, they hold the lies in check.

 Fools or not, behold the patriots
 who love their country much,
 brave critics of the status quo
 with truth their golden crutch.
