 | | I'm an American citizen Everyday I work for the bread
Everyday I fear to lose my precious one
Because were threaten to be killed
 I'm an American citizen

 Everyday I see
 Black, Hispanic or Asian people
That make me so proud to have them with us
Along with them America is the strongest
 I'm an American citizen

Always America have to fight for freedom
It's not a easy thing to do
Always have people who don't understand that
 I'm an American citizen

 My father died at war
 Protecting the land we love
But he always said to me
You don't have to be a warrior to protect the people you cherish
 Just be with them
 Always believe in you
 And never let them down
 I'm an American Citizen

 If you believe in you
 Worked hard
 And raised your family well
Be sure you will never fear nothing
 It's the American Dream
 I'm an American citizen
 America is wonderfulNever forget
He will be always there to help you
 I'm an American citizen
