Explosive Festival country as flag
Training had lasted for eight weeks
Far from home with little sleep
She asked him to go with her
To a family festival
She was an instructor at the school
Normally it would be forbidden
But he was from another nation
Would be heading east after training
People dance and frolic in joy
He relaxes listening to the music
He even smiles as he watches
Her act like the eldest daughter
Rather than a military instructor
Firecrackers lit by boys pop
The two warriors react
The first few times
The first gunshots did not alarm
Until the first dancer fell
Screams and chaos erupt
Two warriors react
Side arms come out
Three bandits fall
She got two
He got one
War does not stop
For festivities.
