Insult My Family! country as flag
They insult my family
As they stupidly say
"People join the Guard
and Reserve to skip the war"

As a Reservist I went
To Desert Storm
Three Campaign Medals

As a Guardsman my father
Went to Korea
Two Campaign Medals

As a Guardsman my uncle
Went to Korea
Three Campaign Medals

As a Reservist the same uncle
Went to Vietnam
Three Campaign Medals

As a Guardsman my grandfather
Went to Europe
Flew the first mission
Lead aircraft to bomb Berlin
Five Campaign Medals

We all bled
We all lost friends
We all faced the Dragon

If your unit gets called
You Go
If your number gets called
You Go
If you don't have to go
You're LUCKY

Everyone takes their chances
