Too Good to Serve country as flag
Two years ago I visited
Some of my extended family
I was told not to talk to the children
About my time in the military
Because I might convince them to join
To serve our defense voluntarily
Their children are too good to serve

One year ago I visited
Some of my extended family
They were waving their flag
Demanding the use of the military
To seek vengeance for the twins
They won't send their kids for security
Their children are too good to serve

This week I visited
Some of my extended family
They were waving their flag
Demanding more use of the military
To hunt terrorists before action
A tear filled my eye plain to see
Their children are too good to serve
