October 14, 2020 - An MH-65 Dolphin
helicopter aircrew from Coast Guard Air Station Atlantic
City, New Jersey, and MH-60T Jayhawk helicopter aircrew from
Coast Guard Air Station Elizabeth City, North Carolina along
with several surface assets from the Virginia area conduct a
simulated rescue operation on wind turbines approximately 28
miles off the coast of Virginia Beach, Virginia.
The turbines are more than 600-feet
high with the simulated rescue taking place approximately
400-feet above the water. (Sound associated with the
exercise muted due to loud wind noise.)
