The Coast Guard Cutter Douglas
Munro (WHEC 724) took its final patrol with its returns home
to Kodiak, Alaska after completing its final
patrol on March 16, 2021. The high endurance cutter has long
been a staple in Alaskan waters, conducting missions
throughout the Aleutian Islands and Bering Sea.
After 49 years of service, the ship
is scheduled for decommission.
