Swab Summer, an intensive seven-week program, is the first part of the U.S. Coast Guard Academy journey towards becoming an officer in the U.S. Coast Guard. It is designed to be physically and mentally challenging to help prepare the newest members of the Corps of Cadets for the U.S. Coast Guard Academy and military life.
