Drone and onboard scenes of the U.S. Coast Guard Tall Ship Eagle (WIX 327)
as it transits through the Atlantic Ocean during a
four-month deployment involved with teach practical
seamanship skills to the future leaders of the U.S. Coast
Guard. The cadets and crew facilitated diplomatic
engagements with U.S. allies in Northern Europe, the
Portuguese archipelagoes of the Azores, Madeira, and
Bermuda.
The deployment also involved
interaction with National Oceanic and Atmospheric
Administration Corps members, foreign military personnel,
and members from sailing organization Tall Ships America.
