June 2, 2022 - U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE)
agents conduct the national wide Operation Cross Check in Dallas,
Texas that involves arresting noncitizens removed from the U.S.
within the last five years pursuant to a final order, who
subsequently reentered without authorization and have been
determined to be a credible threat to border security or public
safety.
Nationally, the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE)
Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) officers apprehended over
100 noncitizens following the conclusion of Cross Check (June 1-7,
2022) with most having convictions for crimes including, but not
limited to, aggravated assault with a gun, robbery, burglary,
kidnapping, hit and run, drug trafficking, and child molestation.
