Multi-National Battle Group - East (KOFR) units involving
the U.S. Army train to stay prepared to rapidly deploy
throughout Kosovo in order to prevent any threat to a Safe
and Secure environment and Freedom of Movement in January
2019. KFOR maintains the capability to react swiftly and
robustly and remains committed to the development of a
stable and peaceful Kosovo.
Multi-National Battle
Group - East (KOFR) is a U.S.-led, brigade-level
organization based at Camp Bondsteel, south of Prishtina,
Kosovo, and adjacent to the city of Ferizaj. The battle
group is composed of soldiers from Poland, Romania, Turkey
and the United States.
