Mandated by law under Title 10
of the U.S. Code, Section 139, OTC’s mission is to conduct
independent operational tests of new and emerging technology
that will improve a typical Soldier’s capability on the
modern day battlefield.
OTC accomplishes this mission
by utilizing real Soldiers, conducting realistic missions,
in real-world scenarios, under representative threats from
independent and determined adversaries, all within a
representative battlefield environment.
OTC is the
final check.
