Combat Team, 28th Infantry Division, Pennsylvania Army National Guard and
members of the Tunisian armed forces fire their Howitzers during African
Lion 2023 (AL23) at Ben Ghilouf Training Area, Tunisia.
Eighteen nations and approximately 8,000 personnel
participated in AL23 that provided an opportunity to conduct
realistic, dynamic and collaborative readiness training in
an austere environment that intersects multiple geographic
and functional combatant commands including U.S. Africa
Command, U.S. European Command, and U.S. Central Command.
