U.S. Army troopers, assigned to 1st Battalion, 8th Cavalry Regiment, train
alongside the Finnish Defense Forces in high-intensity, force-on-force
engagements to increase military readiness and promote interoperability
among partner nations during Karelian Lock 23 on Pahkajarvi Training Area in Finland.
Footage includes the M1A2 SEPV3 Abrams Main Battle Tank, the
Bradley Fighting Vehicle and the Joint Light Tactical
Vehicle. Exercise Lock is a biannual combined arms exercise
which serves as the final stop in the training pipeline for
approximately 6,000 members of the Finnish Defense Forces.
