Highlights of the first Red Flag-Alaska
fiscal year 2019 (Red Flag-Alaska 19-1) involving U.S. and partner
forces during October 2018.
RED FLAG-Alaska is a series of
Pacific Air Forces commander-directed field training exercises held
up to four times a year for U.S. and partner forces at Eielson Air
Force Base and Elmendorf Air Force Base in the State of Alaska. Each
series provides joint offensive counter-air, interdiction, close air
support, and large force employment training in a simulated combat
environment.
