July 13, 2019 - Over 60 kids from the
Valdosta, Georgia area participated in a Science, Technology,
Engineering and Mathematics exhibition at Moody Air Force Base that
included a day at the Eyes Above the
Horizon diversity outreach program by the Legacy Flight Academy.
The
nonprofit
Legacy Flight Academyconducts character-based youth aviation programs that draw upon the LEGACY of the Tuskegee Airmen.
Its comprehensive 3-tiered program works in tandem with partner
organizations to help minorities and at-risk youth achieve success
as aerospace professionals, particularly emphasizing military career
opportunities.
