U.S. Airmen with the 21st Airlift Squadron
provide support for large-scale readiness Exercise Golden Phoenix
2023 (GP23) at Travis Air Force Base, California ... demonstrating
the combined ability to rapidly generate and project air power
leveraging mobility platforms such as the C-5 Galaxy, C-17
Globemaster III and KC-10 Extender that include amazing scenic views
from the aircraft.
GP23 included full spectrum support by
troops from other bases, including the 621st Contingency Response
Wing, Joint Base McGuire Dix Lakehurst, New Jersey; the 349th Air
Mobility Reserve Wing, Travis AFB, California; and, the I Marine
Expeditionary Force, Camp Pendleton, California.
