June 3, 2021 - U.S. Marines with Company B, 3d Assault Amphibian Battalion
and Marines with 3d Battalion, 5th Marines conduct waterborne operations
with Amphibious Assault Vehicles (AAVs) at Camp Schwab, Okinawa, Japan.
The demanding training package
strengthened the capacity to conduct amphibious operations
in the Pacific with the reintegration of rugged, tactical
ship-to-shore connectors, effectively returning an important
capability to III Marine Expeditionary Force.
