August 12, 2021 - U.S. Marines with Company B., 1st Battalion, 7th Marine Regiment (Reinforced), Marine Rotational Force - Darwin, are flown in by MV-22B Ospreys to seize Nackeroo airfield during Exercise Loobye 21 and participate in a notional casevac at Bradshaw Field Training Area, NT, Australia.
Exercises like Loobye demonstrate MRF-D's ability to conduct operations as a joint force with the ADF, execute expeditionary operations and exemplify their mutual dedication to being postured and ready to respond to a crisis or contingency in the Indo-Pacific region.
