Marine Corps Air Station Iwakuni Headquarters and Headquarters Squadron's
Aircraft Rescue and Firefighting (ARFF) Marines conduct emergency response
training at MCAS Iwakuni, Japan.
Emergency response training
allows personnel to safely and efficiently respond to critical situations,
which allows for the quick restoration of flightline operations and the
rescue of those potentially in danger.
MCAS Iwakuni's flightline is an
essential element in completing the Marine Corps' mission,
and ARFF provides an extra level of safety for all
flightline procedures.
