U.S. Marines with 4th Tank
Battalion, 4th Marine Division, Marine Forces Reserve,
conduct training on Camp Pendleton, California. This
training was the first live fire range for the M1A1 Abrams
main battle tank on Camp Pendleton in several years.
The U.S. Marine Corp M1A1 Abrams main battle tank has been
the armored maneuver and close tank support to infantry
service since 1989 and is planned to continue service
through 2050.
