Parris Island monuments stand as reminders of the brave,
proud Marines, who fought in battle and shaped the future of
the Marine Corps. The monuments include the Iron Mike
Monument, the Iwo Jima Monument, Drill Instructor Monument,
Molly Marine Monument, and the Purple Heart Monument.
During the virtual tour, World War II veteran Arthur
Shearer reflects on his time in service and what advice he
would give future generations of service members.
