Helicopter Squadron (HMH) 461 conduct touch and go,
high-altitude ops during cold weather training at Peterson
Air Force Base, Colorado Springs, Colorado in January 2019.
The purpose of the exercise is to increase the squadron’s
proficiency in cold weather and high-altitude aviation
operations and improve overall combat readiness. HMH-461 is
a subordinate unit for Marine Aircraft Group 29, 2nd Marine
Aircraft Wing.
