November 20, 2020 - U.S. Marines with 3d Reconnaissance Battalion, 3d Marine
Division participate in a Marine Corps Combat Readiness Evaluation (MCCRE) at the
Jungle Warfare Training Center, Camp Gonsalves, Okinawa, Japan.
MCCRE is a
training evaluation designed to test the Marines in combat
scenarios, increasing their survivability and lethality
while operating in a jungle environment.
Jungle Warfare Training Center conducts unit and individual training courses to prepare U.S.
Marine Corps, Joint, and Allied Forces for operations in
austere jungle environments, and contributes to the
development of jungle warfare doctrine and testing of
specialized equipment for use in jungle operations.
