USS Nimitz (CVN-68) conducts flight operations with aircraft taking off to
perform their respective mission at an undisclosed location in the Arabian
Sea.
USS Nimitz is a supercarrier of the
United States Navy and the lead ship of her class. It is one
of the largest warships in the world and was named after
World War II Pacific fleet commander Chester W. Nimitz
(1885–1966), who was the Navy's third fleet admiral.
