February 11, 2021
January 28, 2021 - NASA Astronaut Victor Glover works to ready the International Space Station's port-side truss structure for future solar array upgrades during his first spacewalk.
Glover is currently serving as pilot and second-in-command on the Crew-1 SpaceX Crew Dragon, named Resilience, which launched November 15, 2020. It is the first post-certification mission of SpaceX’s Crew Dragon spacecraft (the second crewed flight for that vehicle) and a long duration mission aboard the International Space Station.
Victor Glover is a Navy pilot, who has accumulated 3,000 flight hours in more than 40 aircraft, over 400 carrier arrested landings and 24 combat missions. He was selected as an astronaut in 2013 while serving as a Legislative Fellow in the United States Senate.
