Hurricane Idalia Hits Florida

FEMA personnel coordinate with their counterparts at Florida Division of Emergency Management view Hurricane Idalia by radar during preparation of response efforts after making landfall with 120mph sustained winds on August 30, 2023. Then on September 1, 2023, FEMA Disaster Survivor Assistance teams canvass the Horseshoe Beach, Florida area to provide aid to survivors with damaged homes and other property affected by Hurricane Idalia.
