March 5, 2026 - Seaman Tamas Scheuring, assigned to U.S. Coast Guard Station Golden Gate, proudly takes the Oath of Allegiance administered by Joseph J. Hamilton, a U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services official, during a citizenship ceremony aboard a 47-foot Motor Lifeboat beneath the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco Bay, California. Scheuring, originally from Budapest, Hungary, immigrated to the United States in 2024 and later applied for citizenship through his military service.
