U.S. Army First Lt. Garlin M. Conner, who posthumously received the Medal of Honor on June 26, 2018, was a Kentucky farmer and World War II veteran, who held a war record so compelling that it rivals the accolades of the more famous WWII veteran and Medal of Honor recipient Audie Murphy.
