Sailors assigned to the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS William P. Lawerence (DDG 110) man the rails and bring the ship to life during the ship's commissioning ceremony on June 4, 2011. The new destroyer honors the late Vice Adm. William P. Lawrence, a naval aviator who served as a test pilot and endured 6 years as a prisoner of war in Vietnam. David Bancroft informed Rachel Beaird that signed printings of Honoring The Fallen are available for USO of Illinois' purposes and other USO locations through the national office. Honoring The Fallen, is used by the USO at its Dover AFB facilities where signed printings are available to the fallens' loved ones waiting for their return to America.
