MRV-MEP Launches From Cape Canaveral SFS August 3, 2026
July 21, 2026 - A Falcon 9 rocket carrying the Northrop Grumman MRV-MEP mission successfully launches from Space Launch Complex 40 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, Florida. Following liftoff, the Falcon 9 carried Northrop Grumman's SpaceLogistics Mission Robotic Vehicle (MRV) and three Mission Extension Pods (MEP) toward geosynchronous transfer orbit to support future on-orbit satellite servicing and life-extension operations.
