A-10 Unit Inactivation, Honoring Tbolt II Legacy September 21, 2026
September 18, 2026 - (Top) Two U.S. Air Force A-10 Thunderbolt II aircraft assigned to the Idaho Air National Guard and Air National Guard Air Force Reserve Test Center, fly in formation above Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, Arizona. The aircraft flew during the A-10 Unit Inactivation Ceremony to honor the legacy of the Thunderbolt II and (Bottom) the Airmen with the 355th Operations Group, 357th Fighter Squadron, 357th Fighter Generation Squadron and 355th Training Squadron, who supported its mission at Davis-Monthan.
